Travel within the U.S.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
To help protect you from losing the money you've spent to travel, there is Patriot T.R.I.P.™. The Patriot T.R.I.P.™ provides protection to travelers who are unable to travel or are interrupted during their trips due to circumstances such as illness or injury, jury duty, job layoff, terrorism or the bankruptcy of the tour operator, cruise line or airline. Also offered in the trip cancellation plan are benefits such as travel delay, baggage delay, emergency medical expense and emergency medical evacuation.
International Travel
If you are traveling to an international location, your registration fee already includes international travel insurance through Brotherhood Mutual (see the FAQs for details). However, if you want trip delay/cancellation and baggage delay/loss coverage, you must purchase this separately, through a different insurer. We recommend the Patriot T.R.I.P. ™ plan below. It also includes some medical coverage that is duplicated in the Brotherhood Mutual plan. For duplicated coverage, the insurance you purchase becomes the “primary” insurer and Brotherhood Mutual becomes the “secondary” insurer. Travel Medical Insurance for U.S. Citizens traveling outside the U.S. This plan provides medical coverage for emergency medical expenses, hospital room and board, outpatient medical, emergency medical evacuations, repatriation and much more.

Travel Medical Insurance for non-U.S. Citizens traveling outside their country of citizenship. This plan provides medical coverage for emergency medical expenses, hospital room and board, outpatient medical, emergency medical evacuations, repatriation and much more.
