I love Jesus Christ more after his week. I've learned that it is fun to learn of Him.

I went on my first mission camp this summer, and I can't say how awesome it was! It was wonderful because I got to make great friends with a bunch of new people (my crew was THE BEST!!!) and I deepened my friendships with those in my group. But, best of all, I definitely grew closer to God. Also, it felt like I really opened up this week, because normally I am super shy and this week I really exploded out of my shell. It was a totally awesome week, and everybody in my group and crew was sad that we had to go, but we were all glad that we had managed to help people. I would recommend this trip to everybody!

I went into the week being unsure if I was gonna have a good time since I'm not good with meeting new people. The very first day I opened right up to my crew and felt like they were family, it was the best time of my life. Also, evening programs are the best part!
