About Us

The Group Workcamps Foundation exists as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization to provide dynamic short-term mission trips. Since 1977, nearly a quarter of a million participants have grown in their relationship with Jesus, while providing more than 6 million hours of volunteer service directly to people in need.

Group Workcamps is located in Loveland, Colorado where it all began! Be sure to read the interesting history of how Group Workcamps started.

Over 30 years of mission trips have proven that nothing ignites spiritual growth like putting Christian faith into action. The results are amazing as young people travel to a community, serve people in Christ's name, and (with a little guidance and nurturing) grow in faith and character—and have loads of fun at the same time!

And now, Group Workcamps offers age-appropriate service mission trips for your preteens (ages 10-12). Helping preteens explore and own their faith is one of the most exciting—and fulfilling—experiences you can have as a minister.

On a Group Workcamps short-term mission trip, you’ll find that “service” is balanced with “spiritual growth”. Our #1 goal is to provide an opportunity for God to work in the hearts of your kids. Through carefully planned evening programs (by the experts at Children’s Ministry Magazine), devotions and service projects, your kids hear God’s Word…do God’s Word…and experience transformation. And, the byproduct is meaningful service for people in need.
Choose from 8 community service mission trips across the United States.
A Group Workcamps multi-denominational mission trip is a powerful way to jumpstart your preteens' faith. It's unforgettable. It's fun! And, it changes the lives of your kids and the people they serve.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his death on the cross, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return. We believe people receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Jesus.
