About Us
The Group Workcamps Foundation exists as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization to provide dynamic short-term mission trips, domestically and internationally. Group Workcamps trips are ecumenical, focusing on the core Christian beliefs that bring the Christian church together.
Since 1977, nearly a quarter of a million participants have grown in their relationship with Christ, while providing more than 6 million hours of volunteer service directly to people in need.
And now, in partnership with Girlfriends Unlimited, we bring you a unique opportunity for women to serve women in the jungles of Peru.

The purpose of our trips
Group Workcamps trips are designed to deepen your walk with Christ, while you serve people in Christ's name. It's not so much about the "service projects" (although the challenge is important), it's more about God changing your heart...and the heart of the people you serve. The "work" fades, but the impact of selfless service and new relationships lasts! Our purpose is to provide experiences where you can grow in Christian faith.

Group Workcamps Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his death on the cross, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return.
We believe people receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Jesus.
